My name is Kathy Watts
and I am the owner of Dragon Property Management. I have been in
the property management field for 5 years and have worked for two local
companies attaining my CAM license in July of 2005. Before taking the exam
for my license I worked as an “on site” Manager for a large HOA which included
all aspects of the operation, bookkeeping (AP, AR, invoicing and collections)
and Administrative Assistant.
My professional background
for the past 30 years has been in bookkeeping using mostly QuickBooks
as the accounting system. I’ve taken classes in Accounting, a QuickBooks
class and have plans to further my instruction in QuickBooks as well as
continuing any and all classes needed to establish my proficiency in Property
Management.
By limiting the
number of clients, I will be able to better serve
my clients, so
they are more than one of the crowd.
Every association has
different needs and as such it cannot be assumed what works for one
association will work for another. Communication and a good rapport
between the Manager and Board is a key element.
