BOARD MEETING MINUTES

TUESDAY, JUNE 11, 2019

  CALL TO ORDER:       A motion was made to call the meeting was called to order by Toni McCollum at 5:32pm.  

The notice for the meeting was posted on June 7, 2019 on the laundry room door. This was posted as “Board Meeting”.

VERIFY QUORUM:    President- Toni McCollom, Vice President-George Dolomauk, Secretary - Carol Kueppers, Treasurer, Jill Vogel, and Director, Bob Moody via cell phone.  

 APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Toni made a motion to accept the minutes from April 23, 2019 “Closed Board Meeting” as presented. Jill seconded the motion and it passed by unanimous voice vote.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
1) Painting – since the company that painted our buildings isn’t responding to them, we will have to do our own touch-up.
2) Bartow Lawn Care – when they were spraying the weed killer, it leaked from their container and affected many areas of our common area lawn. The grass area by the pool was treated for sand spurs. We also requested that they stop blowing grass into the pool. An extra key for the pool gate is being placed in the key cabinet in the laundry room so landscapers can access key when the are cutting the lawn.

NEW BUSINESS: We have (3) bids to replace the windows in the laundry room. We will also need hurricane shutters if the new windows are installed are non-hurricane proof. Toni will be forwarding copies of all bids to the board members via email.

OPEN DISCUSSION:
1) Pool furniture – not needed at this time, bring your own chairs. We do need furniture in the laundry room for our Board meetings.
2) Roof – we will be need new roof for our condo buildings in the next couple of years. This will most probably require a “Special Assessment” from the owners.      

 NEXT MEETING: the next Board Meeting will be held on September, 2019. Exact date to be determined later.  

ADJOURNMENT: With no further business to discuss Toni made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:58pm.  George seconded the motion and it was passed by unanimous voice vote.
